JUNIOR SCHOOL
PRIMARY
Our Primary gives learners an exciting educational journey. Typically for 5 to 11-year-olds, it provides a strong foundation for students at the beginning of their schooling before progressing through the Cambridge Pathway in an age-appropriate way.
LANGUAGE ARTS
Our kindergarten language arts curriculum provides a balance of reading and writing readiness skills. Reading is taught through a variety of approaches that recognize students’ learning styles and introduce the structure and comprehension of increasingly complex text. Children are encouraged to write daily. At first their writing consists of primitive words with simple drawings. Later in the year, they progress to words string together to form more complex stories.
ASSESSMENT
Ongoing Child Assessment is a process in which the teaching staff systematically observe and record information about the child’s level of development and/or knowledge, skills, and attitudes; in order to determine what has been learned, improve teaching, and support children’s progress.
RESOURCE LIST
We work with a range of publishers to produce high-quality textbooks and resources to support our core subjects.
CLASSROOM SUPPORT
We provide high-quality resources to plan and deliver the programme.Establish a supportive relationship with the student. Focus on what the student can do rather than what he/she cannot do and build on his/her strengths. Include praise and encouragement as part of the student’s learning and teaching experience.
ENGLISH
The English curriculum in middle school is expanded and developed for students to understand different varieties of prose, poetry, drama, and non-fiction texts. Students are encouraged to read a wide variety of books to expand their horizon. To progress their learning, specific skills such as spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax are taught. At this stage, students are required to learn to put their thoughts in written form through the proper use of grammar, punctuation etc.
TAMIL
6th to 10thClass Books of Tamil Nadu act as an Effective Learning Study Material for the Middle & High School Students. The TN DGE 6th to 10thClass Textbooks help Students in Understanding the concepts in Depth. Books of 6th to 10thClass are prepared by the experts keeping in mind the intellectual level of the students. We also provide space to write poems, short stories, and to debate on a fastidious topic etc to develop their language skills.
MATHS
The Math Curriculum has been developed to train the students in problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical skills. It is also designed to be taught in such a way that students should be able to make connections to the outside world and to other subjects. A lot of students develop an aversion to Math for the way it has been taught traditionally. Through the use of models and ICT to supplement classroom teaching, a positive attitude can be developed towards the subject.
